Caroline McLean began her career studying architectural history, theatre design, textiles and
interiors in her native town of Leeds, England.
She spent the first twelve years of her professional life with a leading British consulting firm designing bars, restaurants, boutique hotels, nightclubs and casinos.
In 1989, Caroline met the love of her life and relocated to Southern California where
she was promptly hired by the world renowned hospitality design company, HBA/Hirsch Bedner Associates.
After becoming a Senior Associate with the firm, Caroline continued working full-time with them until 2008, being ultimately responsible for the overall design and management of a host of A-List projects,
many of which have been published.
She is currently in demand as an independent consultant, working in collaboration with a number of highly respected designers as well as being busy with her own boutique hotel and private residential clients.
